The 2009 Yamaha FJR1300A is a supersport style motorcycle powered by a 1298cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder; DOHC, 16 valves engine, 79 x 66.2 mm bore and stroke, 10.8:1 compression ratio, combined with Mikuni 42 mm throttle body F.I. fuel delivery system and 5-speed with manual clutch transmission system, generating 13.7kg-m (99.1 ft-lb) torque at 7,000 rpm and 105.5 kW (143.5 PS) maximum power at 8000 rpm.
The 2009 Yamaha FZ1 features: Advanced electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, 42mm throttle body fuel injection system with 4-hole Nippon injectors; EFI system features a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), which monitors throttle position and, in conjunction with a variety of sensors (air intake temperature/pressure, atmospheric pressure, coolant temperature, crankshaft position and engine rpm); Curved radiator uses twin ring-type fans; Cast aluminum twin spar, diamond-type frame, features massive twin spars; Fully adjustable 48mm cartridge-style forks offer 135mm (5.4″) of wheel travel; Adjustable link Monocross rear suspension with 125mm (4.8″) of wheel travel; The ABS or Anti Lock Braking System features a linear controlled 3 position system; and many more advanced technologies.
