The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport or GS Coupe is a 2-seater sport coupe with a removable roof panel. It’s motored by a 6.2L V8 engine mated to a six-speed shorter gearing manual transmission (or optional 6-speed automatic) that delivers a massive 430 hp and 424 lb.ft. of torque. The Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Coupe model has a distinctive exterior styling cues including vents and appearance stripes on the front fenders, wider front and rear fenders, front splitter, and rear wing. Other features include 18” front and 19” rear 5-spoke alloy wheels, a stiffer sport-tuned suspension, and upgraded brakes and tires from the base model. Similar four equipment packages as the base model – 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and 4LT, are offered for the GS. Magnetic Ride Control is available bundled with F1 Supercar Gen 2 tires. There’s also an optional exhaust system that can bump powerplant output to 436 hp.
