The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Base Convertible is a two-seat 2-door sport car with a soft removable top. Power plant is a 6.2-Liter 430-hp V8 engine, pushing out 430 hp and 424 lb.ft. of maximum torque. Standard gearbox is a short-throw six-speed manual, that brings the car from start to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds test track time. Optionally, dual mode exhaust to boost performance and 6-speed paddle shift automatic can be fitted in. It’s got a fully enclosed trunk providing 11 cu.ft. of luggage space, even with the top down. The base 1LT corvette convertible comes with xenon headlamps, keyless ignition/entry, cruise control, leather seats, manual tilt steering column, dual zone auto climate control and seven speaker stereo. Moving up to the 2LT package gets you leather upholstered sport seats with power adjustable lumbar, and power operated top. 3LT model is more packed with equipment including head-up display, power telescoping steering wheel, driver memory setting, heated seats, and Bose audio system. The top level 4LT adds two-tone leather interior.
