The 2011 Ford Edge Sport gets an exclusive 3.7-Liter V6 engine, mated to a 6-speed SelectShift automatic with paddle activation, that churns out 305 hp and 280 lb.ft. of torque. Fuel economy is rated at 18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway. Driving is enjoyable with better turn-in precision in steering, and sport-tuned suspension. Accessories are similarly styled like the LImited, with an upgrade to 22” aluminum wheels,and a blackout trim instead of chrome. The MyFordTouch system uses touch controls and voice commands, combining switch pads on the steering wheel with three customizable LCD display including an 8” touchscreen at the center stack. Other highlights include dual-zone auto climate control, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, black leather upholstery, four 12V power points, privacy glass on rear door, quarter and liftgate windows, reverse sensing system, supplemental parking lamp, 4” chrome oval dual exhaust tip, and body color front/rear fascia, lower cladding and rocker molding.
