The 2011 GMC Terrain SLE-1 FWD is a family friendly Sport Utility Vehicle Crossover for five passengers. Backseats are welcoming and comfortable thanks to a 60/40 manual sliding and split seats with reclining feature. Its lighter weight makes it good to be fitted with a 182 hp 2.4L In-line 4-cylinder Spark Ignition Direct Injection (SIDI) engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT). GMC utilizes StabiliTrak stability control system with traction control in the vehicle. Fuel efficiency is rated at a good 22 mpg city / 32 mpg highway. Zero to 60 mph performance time however is not too outstanding at 9.2 seconds. Impressively, base Terrain SLE-1 trim comes pretty packed with amenities including fog lights, charcoal grille with chrome surround, rear skid plates, 17” alloy wheels, auto-dimming rearview mirror with a rearview camera display, single-zone manual air conditioning, heated mirrors, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, six way adjustable driver’s seat, OnStar with voice recognition, and 6-speaker audio with satellite radio and iPod/USB interface.
