The 2011 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid 4WD SUV achieves 20 mpg city / 23 mpg highway. It integrates a 6.0L V8 with active fuel management cylinder shut-off and two electric motors packaged in the transmission that gets power from a 300V NiMH battery. The gas-electric hybrid system produces net power of 369 hp and 380 lb.ft. of torque. It utilizes adaptive auto-leveling suspension, touring-tuned with ride control and magnetic fluid filled shocks.
