The 2011 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLE is a rear drive eight-passenger half-ton SUV equipped with a 5.3L V8 SFI flex fuel engine with Active Fuel management. 320 hp at 5200 rpm and 335 lb.ft. at 4200 rpm is delivered through an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode and tap up / tap down shifting. A 6.0L and 6.2L V8 engine is optional in this model. Exterior and interior styling is similar to its shorter Yukon counterpart, however roomier due to its extended body length. The SLE standard features include single zone air condition, AM/FM stereo with CD player and MP3 playback, USB audio port, Bluetooth interface, steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control, premium cloth seat cover, bucket front seats, 6-way power driver seat, 60/40 split-bench middle row seats, 50/50 split-bench third row seats, and 17” alloy wheels.
