The 2011 Honda Accord LX is the base model in its lineup. This 4-door 5-passenger midsize sedan is powered by a 177 hp 2.4L In-line four cylinder (I-4) DOHC i-VTEC engine with a 6800 rpm redline. It claims to hit the 60 seconds mark at a little less than 8 seconds. It gets improved fuel economy of 27 miles to a gallon combined thanks to the revised aerodynamic. Standard transmission is a five-speed manual, and automatic is also available. Front and rear suspensions are independent and equipped with gas pressurized shocks. 2011 Accord LX sedan comes with full-power accessories, keyless entry, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control, driver’s seat manual height adjustment, 12V power outlet, 6-speaker audio with CD player, and 16-inch steel wheel. Move up to LX-P trim level to get alloy wheels and 8-way power driver seat. All Accord gets safety equipments including ABS, stability and traction control, front side airbags, and side curtain airbags.
