Honda Odyssey The 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring/Touring Elite is the luxury / top of the line trim of the Odyssey front wheel drive minivan.  This family ride shares the same engine across the lineup – the 248 hp 3471cc V6 SOHC engine with multi-point fuel injection.  Transmission gets an upgrade to a 6-speed automatic, pushing the car to accelerate to 60 mph in 7.85 seconds.  This Touring model gains front and rear parking sensor, driver’s memory setting, fog lights, 18” wheels, retractable 3rd row sunshade, and fold down armrest for 3rd row seats.  In addition to that, the navigation and rear seat entertainment system are standard. The Touring Elite adds to it features including blind-spot warning system, automatic HID xenon headlamps, and a dual input 16.2 inch screen rear entertainment system with 650 watt 12-speaker 5.1 surround sound system.  Safety is also standard across the line, with Anti-lock Brake System, Stability Assist with Traction Control, and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD).

2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L Specs, Technical Data and Video

2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L The 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L is more of an MPV due to its many functional features rather than a minivan, suited for a family ride.  This 4th generation Odyssey gets a new sleeker grille.  It seats eight and has a 38.4 cu.ft. standard luggage volume.  Powertrain is a 248 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine with variable cylinder management,  paired to a 5-speed automatic.  Fuel usage is an  good 18 mpg urban and 27 mpg highway. The car marks an 8.3 seconds start to 60 mph acceleration time.  The Odyssey EX-L trim comes with more upscale standard features including leather upholstery and steering wheel wrap, power liftgate, power sunroof, four-way power front passenger seat, heated front seat, auto-dimming rear view mirror, chilled drink box, Bluetooth and satellite radio connectivity.  The Odyssey EX-L model can be had with a choice of optional navigation system with voice activation and rear view camera, or a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.
