The 2011 Honda Element EX is a functional SUV crossover with rectangular profile and seating for four passengers. Drive is pleasant, stable, and very car-like. Utility is represented by its efficient interior space, rubberized floor surface, and a tray like shelf built into the instrument panel. The rear flip-up seats are removable, door layout (clamshell swing-out tailgate, and side front hinged) with low-floor, high-roof set-up supports loading/hauling large volume of cargo. This vehicle is motored by a 166 hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder DOHC engine hooked to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The Element can be had in front-wheel drive (2WD) or Real Time 4-wheel drive system. This uplevel 2011 Element EX gets a center console with removable cooler/storage box, steering wheel mounted audio control, 7-speaker premium sound system with satellite radio, and 16” alloy wheels.
