The 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD is a 4-door 8-passenger SUV that has a boxy truck-like outward appearance with large chrome grille and a blocky utilitarian styled interior. Cabin is pretty spacious for all three rows with relatively easy access to the rear row, while 18 cu.ft. of storage space is provided at the back (it expands to 87 cu.ft. with 2nd and 3rd row seats stowed). This vehicle is motored by a 250 hp 3.5L V6 engine paired to a five-speed automatic. Both two-wheel and four-wheel drive version are available. The all-wheel drive system employs Variable Torque Management® that operates automatically, which features a rear differential lock up to 18 mph. Towing capacity is increased for the 4WD to 4500 lbs.. The Pilot EX-L upgrades with features including leather upholstery, moonroof, heated front seats, 4-way power passenger seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated backup camera, conversation mirror, and noise-reducing laminated windshield.
