The 2011 Nissan Murano SV is a midrange trim, sleek looking, 5-seat midsize SUV Crossover. New for this year is a more prominent contoured soft fascia, restyled grille, and bold headlight clusters up front. LED tailights and dual chrome tailpipes are standard. The interior also got a new center stack setup. The 60/40 rear seatbacks can be reclined, or fold flat to open up space for extra cargo. The powerful 3.5-Liter V6 makes 260 hp and 240 pound-feet of torque, delivered by continuously variable automatic transmission to the front wheel. Ride quality is smooth with fine-tuned suspension, and handling is responsive. The Nissan Murano SV moves up from the base S model, to add panoramic sunroof, foglights, automatic headlights, roof rails, power front seats, leather-wrapped steering column with audio controls, Bluetooth, iPod integration, 7-inch color display screen, and rearview camera.

It gets its power from a 3.5-Liter dual-overhead cam V6 that’s paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), delivering 260 hp and 240 pound-feet of torque. It returns 20 miles per gallon mixed driving. The SUV gives confident handling and spacious accommodations for occupants, but less so for the cargo room compare to other competitors. The entry-level Murano S model features keyless ignition/entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, til/telescoping steering wheel, cloth upholstery, height adjustable driver seat, reclining rear seat, rear tinted glass, 6-speaker sound system with six CD changer and auxiliary audio jack, and 18” alloy wheels.
