The 2011 Suzuki Equator Crew Cab RMZ-4 is a Nissan-built 4-door midsize pickup truck attached to a 5-foot bed. The crew cabin is generous in space and seats maximum five person. Power is generated by a 261-horsepower 4-Liter V6 DOHC engine with digital fuel injection and VVT that makes plenty of low-end torque handy for more demanding tasks. A five-speed automatic gearbox is standard. The RMZ-4 comes only in four-wheel drive with 2-speed transfer case and low range gear standard. The Suzuki Equator RMZ 4X4 is suited for the off-road trail. Additional standard equipments in this top-trim level includes chrome exterior accents, 16” alloy wheels on off-road oriented all-terrain tires, foglamps, skid plates, heavy-duty axles, Bilstein® high-performance dampers/shocks, rear locking differential, hill descent and hill assist control, and special easy-clean material. Garmin navigation system and bed extender can optionally be had.
The 2011 Suzuki Equator Crew Cab Sport 4X2 is a 4-door 5-passenger midsize pickup truck with a 5-foot bed built on a fully boxed ladder, body on frame construction. Mechanical specification features a 4.0-Liter 16-valve V6 with digital fuel injection and variable valve timing. It uses a five-speed automatic transmission to deliver 261 hp and 281 lb.ft. of torque to the rear wheels (four-wheel drive version also available). EPA estimated fuel economy is 17 miles per gallon combined. The truck is capable of towing a 6300-pounds trailer. The crew cab is configured with front bucket seats with center console storage and rear 60/40 split flip up bench. Interior treatments are similar to the Nissan Frontier. The cargo bed/box is well equipped, providing good cargo storage solution. The basic model Equator Crew Cab Sport 4X2 features 17” alloy wheels, front tow hook, spray-on bedliner, cargo bed track tie-down with 4 cleats, detachable tailgate, keyless entry, air conditioning, tilt steering column, cruise control, driver’s height adjustable seat with lumbar support, two 12-volt power outlet, and six-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system.
