The 2011 Volkswagen EOS Lux adds luxury amenities inside and out from the Komfort trim. The 200 hp and 207 lb-ft torque, 2.0 Liter Turbocharged engine is unchanged. Paired with it is a 6-speed automatic gearbox with overdrive, and DSG® w/ Tiptronic® sequential shift control function, that lets the driver enjoy a fast gear shift or enhanced acceleration with the sport mode. Engine management features drive-by-wire, direct injection, ignition coil and adaptive knock control. Brake system equips Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Brake Assist on all four wheel. Other safety standard includes automatic rollover protection, Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), a crash optimized front end, and park distance control. This 3516 lb. 2-door sub-compact car highlights an automatic CSC (Coupe-Sunroof-Convertible), with multi-piece folding hardtop roof and a heated rear glass window. The unique exterior sports a chrome front grille surround with chrome louvers, auto halogen headlights, and dual exhaust tip. Inside, it displays burled walnut interior trim, front sliding center armrest with integrated storage box and 12V outlet, Media Device Interface (MDI), leather seats, 12-way power adjustable front seats with 4-way power lumbar support, multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, stalk-mounted cruise control, and self dimming rear view mirror.
