2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 The 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 tries to merge functions and capabilities into one bike – sport, long distance tourer, urban and road enduro – through a switchable pre-programmed driving mode.  This 417 pounds motorcycle is driven by a 1198 cc eight-valve L-Twin DOHC engine, rated a massive 150 horsepower and 87.5 lb.ft. torque at 7500 rpm.  This Testastretta 11 degrees powertrain claims to improve fuel economy and reduced emission.  Power delivery control is regulated by an electronic Ride-by-Wire (RbW) system.  Gearbox is a 6-speed, where last gear is overdrive, and receives torque assisted slipper clutch with self-servo action on drive, slipper action on over-run.  Features include four halogen headlamps in a cat-eye symmetrical layout, hands free ignition, traction control, 60 mm vertically adjustable windscreen, 12V power outlet, large LCD on-board computer system, stowage on the right cockpit side panel and a 3 liter capacity underseat storage, and short exhaust pipes.  ABS comes as option.
