The 2011 Honda Shadow RS is a classic roadster cruiser style motorcycle with a 2.8 gallon peanut shaped fuel tank and flatter one-piece seat for two. Power is generated from a 745cc liquid-cooled V-twin SOHC engine featuring Programmed Fuel Injection, three-valve dual-plug combustion chamber, and long-stroke crankshaft design. The motor is hooked to a wide-ratio five-speed transmission with a light and efficient chain final drive spinning the back wheel. Easy to read instruments and gauges are handlebar-mounted to give the bike a clean look. The higher mounted footpegs improve ground clearance useful during cornering, while the more upright bars lets the rider sit in a more upright standard style riding ergonomics. It achieves a respectable fuel mileage of 56 mpg combined, thus bringing the motorcycle 140 miles per fill-up.
