The 2011 BMW F 800 GS is a dual purpose mid-class travel enduro bike, with low weight and a massive power reserve, ready for both rough terrains and asphalt. Power is provided by a 798cc 4-stroke water-cooled Parallel Twin engine that yields 85 bhp and 62 lbs.ft. of max torque, mated with 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. It gets manifold injection with electronic engine management, BMS-KP, lambda probe and regulated 3-way catalytic converter plus secondary air system for a cleaner emission. Braking performance is enhanced by the dual floating disc front and single disc rear brakes. With an off-road oriented chassis, suspension spring travel is a generous 9-in. front and 8.5-in. rear. This aggressive adventurer BMW F 800 GS motorcycle rolls on 21” front and 17” rear aluminum spoke wheels, featuring wide footrest, 4.2 gallon tank located under the seat, long comfortable one-piece rider seat and passenger pillion, wide upswept aluminum handlebar, windscreen and off-road style fairings.
