P90062611 The 2011 BMW K 1300 S is a European sport motorcycle that adapts touring ergonomic riding position for everyday suitability.  It is styled with a sizeable headlight, steep windshield, full fairing, sharp lines, angular fuel tank,  comprehensive instrument cluster, and a one piece two-up saddle for rider and passenger.  The 1293cc in-line 4-cylinder dual cam shaft powerplant produces a claimed 175 bhp and 103 pound-feet of torque at 8250 rpm.  The bike handles well, using Duolever front suspension and Paralever two-stage driveshaft at the rear that helps reduces chassis up-down movement during acceleration or deceleration.  BMW K1300S comes standard with part-integral Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) safety feature.  Option include ESA II (electronic suspension adjustment), Stability Control (ASC), and HP gearshift assistant that allows smooth, clutchless, full throttle upshift.

2011 BMW S 1000 RR Specs, Engine Features and Overview

P90062620 The 2011 BMW S 1000 RR is a 403-pound 1000cc superbike, equipped with water/oil-cooled, four-cylinder, 16-titanium valve engine that churns out 193 bhp and 83 ft.lbs. of peak torque, with a massive 14200 rpm redline.  It’s oversquare with a bore and stroke of 80 mm x 50 mm.  Design of the 2011 BMW S1000RR motorcycle displays a sport-racing tail-up nose-down posture constructed around an aluminum bridge, a relatively skinny bodywork, asymmetrical headlight (combination of round and trapezoidal lenses), and ventilation on the side fairing.  Suspension is an upside down front fork and rear gas-charged shock that uses rocker arm type linkage (both ends fully adjustable).  Optionally offered are electronic quick-shifter for improved acceleration, and lightweight Race ABS for extra safety in conjunction with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) for four operating modes – rain, sport, race, and slick.
