The 2011 BMW F 800 ST is a middleweight sport bike, motored by a 85 bhp 798cc water-cooled 4-stroke parallel-twin engine with double overhead cam shaft. Power is delivered through a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox integrated into the crankcase that employs modern tooth belt drive. It achieve an acceptable gas mileage of 54.2 mpg mixed driving. Strong stopping power is given by its front twin disc brake and Brembo four piston hydraulic calipers, with rear disc and single piston. The suspension system has a generous 5.5-in. of front and rear travel. It comes with steering damper, and an adjustable rear shock or spring preload and rebound damping. Features include a full fairing, high windshield for good wind and weather protection, raised handlebar for a touring oriented riding position, a muscular 4.1 gallon fuel tank, single exhaust that exits high up at the back, 17” tires, and a sloping one-piece saddle to accommodate rider and passenger comfortably.
