The 2011 Suzuki DR650SE is a dual sport motorcycle having both street performance and off-road agility. The compact 644cc 4-stroke air-cooled SOHC engine is tuned for low to midrange rpm range. It is equipped with counterbalancer for a smooth ride and Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACS). It also comes with an additional piston jet cooling and engine oil cooler. Power output is a maximum 43.5 horsepower, while torque reaches peak at 54 Nm. Fuel consumption is an economical 56 mpg. The DR650SE bike is built with a short wheelbase, rigid semi-double cradle frame with thin wall, large diameter tubing, hollow type wheel axles, and aluminum swingarm. The seat can be lowered by 1.6 inch (40 mm) with suspension modification. Features include easy electric starter, link rear suspension with piggy back style shock absorber, full on-road lighting with halogen headlight, handlebar mounted brush guard, frame-mounted luggage rack, 21” front and 17” rear wheels fitted to special tread tires, and corrosion resistant light stainless-steel exhaust.
