2011 Suzuki RM-Z450 The 2011 Suzuki RM-Z450 is a 249 lbs. FIM/AMA Supercross Championship winner off-road motocrosser, motored by a 449 cc water-cooled single cylinder DOHC engine.  It uses 5-speed constant mesh gearbox with a light clutch pull. Performance is consistent across fast laps, the torque chart shows a slight down movement off the bottom before climbing to the mid-range and strats to sign off at around 7500 rpm. Handling offers good steering control.  The bike is fine tuned to include new less-noisier muffler and exhaust pipe to comply with 94db AMA noise limits, higher compression ratio of 12.5 to 1, revised intake and exhaust timing of the fuel injection, and changed ECU setting.

2011 Suzuki RM-Z250 The 2011 Suzuki RM-Z250 is a dirt-track ready off-road motorcycle with smooth engine output.  It is driven by a 249cc, fuel injected, 4-stroke, 4-valves single-cylinder engine with a mid-range punch and 13500 maximum rpm.   Refinements in the 2011 RM-Z250 include a quieter muffler that meets AMA Motocross 94db noise limit, exhaust pipe length adjustment, updated ECU setting to provide more linear acceleration, and revised radiator hose routing for better cooling.  Transmission system is a 5-speed constant mesh focusing on 3rd and 4th gear, that offers flexibility and gear ratios suited for various terrains.  Lubrication has also been improved, on the centre of the clutch.  It’s ergonomic design produce a thin ride and good grip for the rider, with aluminum alloy tapered handlebar, narrow aluminum fuel tank, gripper seat cover, and wide footpegs.
