The 2011 Kawasaki Versys Base is a bold looking, all-around, middleweight bike motored by a water-cooled 649cc parallel-twin engine. With digital fuel injection feeding two 38 mm Keihin thottle bodies, this versatile motorcycle produces nearly 63 horsepower and 45 lb.ft. of torque through a 6-speed gearbox. It sports a high tensile steel trellis frame with long gull-wing aluminum swing arm. Notable features include long travel fork, adjustable single-shock rear suspension with progressive damping, and petal style brake disc that supply plenty of stopping power. Its aggressive and ergonomic design shows stack dual headlight, adjustable windscreen, comprehensive instrument cluster including analog tachometer and digital speedometer, Z1000-style LED taillight, six spoke wheels, and under engine exhaust.
