2011 Yamaha TMAX The 2011 Yamaha TMAX is a stylish super sport scooter that comes with comfort.  Powertrain is a fuel injected 499cc 4-stroke parallel twin DOHC engine mated to an auto Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), having an economic fuel consumption of estimated 47 mpg.  With a lightweight aluminum frame it rolls on 15” radial tires.  Features include a large aerodynamic fairing with tall windshield, expansive cockpit and double glove box in front apron, bright cat-eye headlight, spacey underseat storage, rider’s position adjustable backrest, and exhaust catalyst technology integrated with muffler to minimize air pollution.  Confidence in safety is provided by the front double disc brakes with four mono block calipers, supported by pin slide single piston rear brake.
