The Fuel injection throttle bodies are now 42mm (up from 40mm), with new injectors featuring 12 laser-drilled jet holes (from the previous four) for finer fuel atomization; the second-generation PGM-FI’s ECU is also much more powerful and quicker-computing. The Honda CBR1000RR (also known as the Fireblade) which is powered by a 999 cc (60.9 cu in) liquid-cooled DOHC inline four-cylinder Honda sport bike was first introduced in 2004 to replace the CBR954RR. The CBR1000RR is the lightest, most compact, and best performing motorcycle in its class.

Honda CB1000RRThis super bike is a completely fresh design, with unique Dual Stage Fuel Injection System (PGM-DSFI) features two injectors per cylinder, Idle-Air Control Valve (IACV) and Ignition Interrupt Control for idle stability and smoother on/off throttle response, MotoGP-derived Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD), 43mm Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) inverted front fork, Exclusive, MotoGP-derived Unit Pro-Link® Rear Suspension, Radial-mount front brake calipers combined with radial-actuated master cylinder and Centrally located fuel tank increases mass centralization for a more compact frame design.
