2011 BMW R 1200 RT The 2011 BMW R 1200 RT is a 504 pounds long-distance motorcycle with a sport bike gene.  It’s boxer engine is a 1170cc flat-twin DOHC with enlarged valve apertures that produces good acceleration from lower engine speed range through to above medium range.  Power output is marked at maximum 110 bhp and 88 ft.lbs. of torque, while fuel consumption rated at 43.3 mpg urban driving and 65.3 mpg on the highway.  The front Telelever suspension and shaft-drive rear single sided swing arm are adjustable for spring pre-load, spring rate, and rebound damping with an available Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) function.  The 2011 R1200RT sport-touring bike offer 113-liter of storage space in its easily detachable two side panniers and optional tank case.  Other accessories include under arm positioned mirrors, large cowling, xenon HID headlamp (can be upgraded for auto-leveling), a wide aero-acoustic windhsield adjustable by 5.5-in., heated seats and hand grips, height adjustable seat, and cruise control.
