The 2011 Kawasaki Ninja® ZX-10R modern Japanese high-performance superbike. It’s powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, horizontal in-line four-cylinder DOHC engine with two fuel injectors per cylinder. Output is rated 197 bhp which is claimed to be boosted to 207 bhp by the Ram Air system, with a torque of 83 lbs.ft. Engine is arranged to work with the twin-spar cast aluminum chassis, for a more centralized mass. Suspension employs 43mm up-side down big piston fork, steering damper, and a rear horizontal back link gas-charged shock (with adjustable compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload). The 2011 ZX-10R motorcycle is equipped with an advance Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) to optimize rear wheel spin and engine acceleration. There are three power modes to chose from – track use with racing tires, general sport riding, wet or slippery surfaces, and can be disabled completely. Other highlights include titanium-header exhaust system, 3-spoke 17” gravity cast wheels, 32-inch low seat, adjustable footpeg, and high visibility race-oriented instrumentation including LED bar-graph tachometer.
