2011 Yamaha WR250R The 2011 Yamaha WR250R is a motocrosser inspired dual purpose bike.  It is said to be just a bit more on the “street” side, but has a fairly good deal of off-road prowess.  Compared to its WR250X sibling however, it is suited for riders who spend more time on the dirt track than on the pavement.  The 298 lbs. lightweight motorcycle is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder 4-valve DOHC engine that yields 30.3 hp and 17.7 lb.ft. of peak torque – enough to run an estimated 90 mph tops on the highway.  Fuel consumption is efficiently low at 71 mpg.  The aluminum alloy chassis is fitted with long travel suspension comprising of a KYB fork paired with Soqi rear shock.  It rolls on Bridgestone® Trail Wing 21” front and 18” rear tires.  Braking is good with 250mm front disc and 230mm at the back.  Features include a slim steel fuel tank with knee grip, 36.6 in. high narrow seat with gripper type cover, minimalist fenders,  enduro-style boxed instrument panel with digital readings, a stylish squared halogen headlight, and adjustable front brake lever.

2011 H-D Softail Cross Bones The 2011 Harley-Davidson Softail® Cross Bones™ adopt a  post-war bobber look.  This stripped down custom, solo rider motorcycle sports a fat front tire below a chopped fender, 8 inches high black mini ape-hanger handlebar with wires routed inside the steel, a black shelled headlamp and Springer front end, bobtail rear fender with black supports, laced wheels and slash-cut mufflers.  Saddle is a re-engineered sprung solo seat with modern comfort.  Engine is the Softail’s rigid-mounted  air-cooled Twin Cam 96B™ engine that push out 93.2 ft. lbs and rated a 35 mpg urban drive, 54 mpg highway fuel economy.  The engine is styled with detail, showing off a black powder coated powertrain topped off with chrome rocker covers.
