2011 BMW K1600GT The 2011 BMW K 1600 GT sport touring bike is suitable for long distance ride.  It’s equipped with a large capacity 1649cc, oil/water-cooled, In-line 6-cylinder DOHC engine with an impressive 160.5 hp of power output and 129 ft.lbs. of torque.  It employs a 6-speed gearbox that allows over 70% of max torque to be available from just 1500 rpm.  The 703 lbs. low weight is contributed by the light and narrow engine construction, and the light alloy bridge type frame helps balances the mass.  This Gran Turismo inspired long-distance motorcycle offers three engine modes – Rain, Road, and Dynamic – through a handlebar mounted control.  An Anti-lock Brake (ABS) add linked front to rear brake system is utilized.  Other top class features of the 2011 K 1600 GT include electrically adjustable windshield with memory function, ergonomic seating with adjustable rider’s height, heated grips and seat, cruise control, on-board computer, 17” ten-spoke wheels, and xenon headlight.  Optionally available are traction control, adaptive headlight, and navigation system.
