VW Jetta sedan has entered more than 30 years of production. This German compact mid-size car has been through some modification this year for a more affordable price. The 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SEL is powered by a 2.5-liter in-line 5-cylinder DOHC gas engine, generating 170 hp @ 5700 rpm and peak torque of 177 lb/ft @ 4250 rpm. It performs 0-60 mph acceleration in 8.4 seconds, and could run at top speed of 120-130 mph limited. Suspension system installed is front independent McPherson strut and rear semi twist beam, with coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. 15.5 cu.ft. is plenty of trunk space provided, while the cabin provide 94.1 cu. ft. of passenger volume to seat five. The SEL model upgrade includes rear disc brakes, fog lamps, chrome exterior trim, keyless entry/ignition, front seat manual lumbar adjustment, navigation system, Bluetooth phone system, digital audio capability and 17 inch wheels.
