The 2009 Yamaha YZF-R1 features: The fuel injection’s lightweight Electronic Control Unit (ECU) utilizes a powerful 32-bit processor for fast control of the injection process; All new Mikuni fuel injection system features twin injectors (one set of primary & one set of secondary injectors); Compact ACM (alternator) is mounted directly to the new crankshaft; All new crossplane crankshaft features larger 36mm journals for increased strength; and many more advanced technologies.

2009 Yamaha FJR1300A The 2009 Yamaha FJR1300A is a supersport style motorcycle powered by a 1298cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder; DOHC, 16 valves engine, 79 x 66.2 mm bore and stroke, 10.8:1 compression ratio, combined with Mikuni 42 mm throttle body F.I. fuel delivery system and 5-speed with manual clutch transmission system, generating 13.7kg-m (99.1 ft-lb) torque at 7,000 rpm and 105.5 kW (143.5 PS) maximum power at 8000 rpm.
