2010_Toyota_Matr_xrs The 2010 Toyota Matrix XRS is the top level trim in the Toyota Matrix series.  Its engine is a 2.4 L in-line 4-cylinder DOHC VVTi that is paired with a choice of 5-speed manual  (MT) or 5-speed automatic (AT) transmission.  This gas fueled front wheel drive (FWD) compact wagon delivers an output of 158 horsepower and 162 ft lb torque, bringing the car from start to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds.  The XRS styles color-keyed front and rear underbody spoilers and front fog lamps, hatch mounted roof end spoiler, and 18” alloy wheels.  Standard specification includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction control (TRAC) with off switch, cruise control, telescopic adjustable steering wheel, all seasons tires, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Optitron meters.  Among its safety features are Multi-terrain 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), engine immobilizers, front and rear energy-absorbing crumple zones, and high tensile strength steel body panels.  The XRS also adds unique sports fabric seats, leather trimmed steering wheel, 12 and 115V auxiliary power outlet,  and upgraded audio.
