2011 Yamaha YZ450F Specs, Engine Features, and Overview
The 2011 Yamaha YZ450F is a 449 cc dirtbike / motocrosser. Powertrain is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, fuel-injected, single cylinder with 4 titanium valves DOHC engine. It comprises of a bilateral beam aluminum chassis with hydroformed tapered aluminum swingarm, mounted atop a 21” front and 19” rear tires. It sports a slanted cylinder rearward with exhaust that exits from the rear of the cylinder to gain more balance. The handlebar adjusts to 4 different position having a 22mm fork off set of its triple clamps, and features Pro Taper bars and foam handlebar pad. A KYB fork front suspension uses Transfer Control Valve (TCV) to enhance damping force. Made for on the dirt action, the bike also comes with polypropylene engine and water pump guards, extra wide foot pegs, folding shift lever, and heavy-duty rubber swingarm protector.
