The 2011 Acura TL AWD 3.7 is a sport oriented 4-door 5-passenger luxury sedan. It sports a controversial edgy look with wide bodywork, large metallic beak grille, a sloping roof line at the rear that ends short on its tail, and dual exhaust finishers. This top TL trim level gets a high-tech Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) that is capable of transferring power to individual wheels to suit different conditions. It also highlights a more powerful engine – a 3.7-Liter V6 that churns out 305-horsepower and 273 lb.ft. of peak torque. Standard gearbox is a 5-speed automatic with sequential sport shift. Alternatively, a 6-speed manual is also offered. The sedan returns 20 mpg combined. Features exclusive to the Acura TL AWD 3.7 includes deep bolstered front seats with unique contrast leather stitching, sport-tuned suspension, electro-mechanical limited slip differential, and 18” alloy wheels.
The 2011 Suzuki SX4 Sportback Base is a small 4-door hatchback. It is the front-wheel drive version of the SX4 Crossover, without the roof rails. It shares the same engine – the 150-horsepower 2.0-Liter Four-cylinder. Standard gearbox is a six-speed manual, while an automatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that comes with steering wheel mounted F1-style paddle shifters is optional. The car employs sport suspension with KYB® shocks and disc brakes on all four corners. Safety features include 8 airbags including a rear side impact airbag, side impact door beam, electronic stability control, EBD, daytime running lights, and tire pressure monitoring. The SX4 Sportback comes in two model only – the Base and Technology model. The Base Suzuki SX4 Sportback is pretty well packed with comfort and convenience features including keyless entry, information display, tilt leather wrapped steering wheel with cruise and audio controls mounted, air conditioning, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, aero body kit, foglamps, rear spoiler, and 17” alloy wheels. The SX4 Sportback Technology adds navigation system and a larger rear spoiler.
