The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic is a cruiser style motorcycle driven by a 903cc, 4-Stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve per cylinder, V-twin engine, 88.0 x 74.2mm bore and stroke, 9.5:1 compression ratio, combined with EFI with dual 34mm Keihin throttle bodies fuel injection system and five-speed transmission system generating 37 kW maximum power at 5,700 rpm and 78 N·m maximum torque at 3,700 rpm. The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic features: Four-valve Cylinder Head; Liquid and Air Cooling; Automatic Cam Chain Tensioner; Dual Slash-Cut Mufflers; Positive Neutral Finder, the sub throttles, located behind the main throttle valve, are controlled by the ECU so that the DFI system retains more precise throttle response, similar to a constant velocity carburetor; Double Cradle Frame; Electronic Fuel Injection; and many more advanced technologies.
