The 2011 GMC Acadia SL FWD is a 4-door 8-passenger SUV that combines smooth driving and responsive handling to big hauling capacity with 1755 lbs. of payload. It gets its power from a 288 hp 3.6L direct injection V6 DOHC engine that’s joined with a six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is big – measuring 201 in. long, styled with a GMC grille emblem and projector beams upfront. It is aerodynamically shaped for an SUV, with 0.36 drag coefficient. The exterior is also refined with rounded fender flares, two-tone taillight cluster, double dual exhaust with chrome tips, and standard 18” wheels. Inside, driver sits high and has good visibility on the road. The base 2011 Acadia SL comes with air conditioning with rear controls, stability control system with traction control, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, remote keyless entry, cloth upholstery, 4-way manually adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment, 60/40 split second and third row seats, automatic headlamps, daytime running lights, roof rails, and rear spoiler. Acadia SL can also be had in all-wheel drive drivetrain. An All-wheel drive (AWD) drivetrain is also available for Acadia.
