2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide™ Base Specs and Features

The 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Base is a Touring Style Motorcycle driven by an 1584cc, Air Cooled, V Twin, OHV – Pushrod, 4-Stroke Engine and a 6-Speed Manual Transmission. It is equipped with a Telescopic Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Twin Sided Swing Arm, Front Dual Disc Brakes and Rear Disc Brakes. The exhaust, a new 2-1-2 exhaust system with a one-piece front exhaust shield, has been re-routed to reduce heat exposure to both the rider and passenger, and all the bikes receive a lower final drive ratio to improve acceleration.
