The 2011 Triumph Speed Triple is a streetfighter / track bike with a powerful 1050cc in-line three-cylinder DOHC engine that has been upgrade with new airbox, larger inter-cylinder air transfer holes that reduces pumping loss, latest generation ECU software, and modified exhaust system. It achieves a claimed 133 bhp @ 9400 rpm and 82 ft.-lbs. of peak torque @ 9400 rpm. Chassis is an all-new, more compact aluminum twin spar frame with single sided swingarm design. The shocks of its suspension provides adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping. This high performance motorcycle gets a modern and aggressive look with twin pentagonal headlights, LED taillight, muscular gas tank with new radiator side cover, and muffler with oval profile that exits up high in the back. Features also include coded key immobilizer for added security, LCD instrument pack with digital speedometer and gauges, alloy handlebars, narrower one-piece seat, and optional ABS.
