The 2011 Harley-Davidson Road Glide® Custom touring motorcycle sits on a single-par, rigid backbone chassis with stout swingarm made for long-distance touring. Power comes from a rubber-mounted Twin Cam 96™ V Twin engine making 92.6 lb.ft. of torque with a six-speed manual Cruise Drive transmission– 4-stroke with OHV Pushrod valve configuration, and ESPFI. It can also be had with a Twin Cam 103™ choice of engine. Appearance highlights a low aerodynamic shark-nose fairing incorporating dual quartz halogen headlights, wide set handlebar, big 18” front wheels, smooth taillight assembly, and a 2-1-2 Exhaust. Rider sits 26.1 in. low in the one-piece deep-contoured two-up leather seats for two. Two side-mounted hard bags haul 2.26 cu.ft. of luggage. Braking uses Brembo® 4-piston front and rear caliper with dual front rotor brake system, working on the Dunlop® tires with rear multi-tread efficient construction. Air adjustable rear shocks accommodate passenger and luggage loads, and suspension calibration fits with the chassis geometry to give comfort in handling.
