The 2011 Honda Element LX is a compact 4-door 4-seat crossover with a boxy profile and space efficient layout to carry passengers and their gears. Cargo are easily loaded through the swing-out back door, and storage capacity can be expanded from 25 cu.ft. to 74 cu.ft. by removing the rear seats. Side doors are 90 degrees swing open double doors that also aids in loading. Engine is a 2.4-Liter 4-Cylinder i-VTEC that delivers 166 horsepower and 161 lb.ft. of torque through a 5-speed automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive is standard, but a Real Time 4-Wheel Drive system is available. Fuel consumption is marked at 22 mpg combined. The 2011 Element LX base model comes equipped with keyless entry, air-conditioning, full power accessories, 12-V power point, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, height adjustable driver seat, water resistant floor seat, urethane-coated utility floor, 4-speaker sound system, and 16” steel wheels. Starting last year, Element also offers a Dog Friendly package.
