The 2011 Nissan Xterra S is a rugged rear-wheel drive 4-door 5-passenger SUV with off-road capabilities and a taste for the outdoors. Engine is a 261hp 4.0-Liter V6 mated to a 5-speed automatic (or a 6-speed manual to go with four-wheel drive drivetrain). It’s body-on-frame construction is built on a truck platform with the exterior displaying tubular roof rack, stepped roofline, short overhangs, wide fender flares, tall ground clearance and 16” 5-spoke alloy wheels. Inside it provides plenty of room, with a 60/40 split folding backseat and 36.3 cubic-feet of rear cargo space, plus easy to use controls. Safety system includes antilock disc brakes, 2-wheel Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS), stability control, front seat side airbags, and side curtain airbags. The Nissan Xterra S midrange trim level adds height adjustable driver seat with lumbar control, first aid kit, cargo organization system, and off-road tires.
