The 2011 Suzuki DRZ-400S is a dual purpose on-off road capable motorcycle – both dirt ready and street legal. Engine is a 398 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylider engine that provides strong torque across its powerband. It uses a 5-speed compact transmission that employs cable-operated clutch. The bike is constructed with a lightweight and compact design around a narrow chrome molly chassis backbone and a bolt-on aluminum subframe. Seating accommodates two people with 36.8 in. seat height, and ground clearance is a good distance at 11.8 in. Key features include long travel front fork for various terrain, fully adjustable progressive linkage rear single shock absorber, 6.5 amp maintenance free battery, compact digital instrument panel (functions include speedometer, odometer, twin-trip meters with addition/subtraction capability, clock, timer and stopwatch), a pouch on the rear fender, 60/50 watt H4 halogen headlight, and a high mounted exhaust pipe.
