The 2011 Honda CRF® 250R is a nimble off-road motocross bike that claims to have improved response and midrange power – race ready and suitable for recreational riders. The dirt bike gets a new 94 dB muffler to meet racing requirement sound limit. Powertrain is a 250 cc four-stroke single cylinder Unicam® engine that features liquid cooling and Programmed Fuel Injection for improved fuel economy. The engine is mated to a close ratio five-speed transmission. This four-valve motorcycle has a redline of 13500 rpm. Suspension receives adjustable rebound damping and adjustable shock/spring pre-load. Honda’s Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) with a larger 24mm damper piston optimizes handling, gives it better balance, and improve tracking traits. Braking for the CRF 250R is worked by front lightweight disc with anodized aluminum twin-piston and works-style rear brake with 240mm rotor.
