The 2011 VW Touareg comes in FSI VR6, TDI diesel, and Hybrid forms. The 2011 Volkswagen Touareg VR6 Sport features a 3.6-Liter VR6 gas engine that delivers 280 hp and 269 lb.ft. of peak torque through 8-speed automatic gearbox, with Triptronic dynamic shift program and sport mode. It uses cast iron cylinder block, forged steel crank shaft, and cross flow aluminum alloy cylinder head. With its 4MOTION® all-wheel drive that reacts to changes in wheel slippage and adjust power to the individual wheels, this 5-passenger SUV can steer through almost any terrains. Standard accessories include Bi-Xenon headlights, dual zone climate control, heated front seats, 60/40 split folding rear seat with 3-stage adjustable backrest, 8” display navigation system, rear view camera,and 18” alloy wheels. This model achieves 16 mpg city / 23 mpg highway fuel efficiency rating.
