The 2011 Aprilia Sportcity 50 is a compact size, stylish scooter offering practicality and riding agility. It is designed with protective front windshield, wide seat for two, passenger grab handle, flat platform, and a roomy underseat storage compartment. The bike is driven with a 50cc 4-stroke single-cylinder SOHC engine, delivering 2 bhp @ 7000 rpm through a CVT automatic transmission. The engine features carburetor fuel system, forced air cooling, and catalytic converter. With ultra efficient combustion, Aprilia Sportcity 50 scooter is economical to run, running over 25 miles on 1 liter of fuel. 14” light alloy wheels are fitted to a classical open cradle frame in high strength steel tube. Front hydraulic fork suspension has a wheel travel of 85 mm, while at the rear end engine-transmission assembly acts as swingarm and is damped by an adjustable shock absorber with a generous 84 mm of wheel travel.
