The 2011 Suzuki GSX-R750 sportbike is built on the basis of the GSX-R championship winning motorcycle. This street machine gets its power from a 750 cc four-cylinder horizontal in-line engine that delivers broader power delivery. Among the improvements are throttle response, lower emission, and a lighter aerodynamic bodywork. It is constructed on a more compact wheelbase and twin-spar aluminum cradle frame. Transmission is a 6-speed close ratio with vertically staggered shafts and back torque limiting clutch. Other key features include Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) for two setting, excellent stopping performance given by a radial mounted 4-piston Brembo monoblock front brakes calipers and single piston rear, shorter fuel tank body, steering damper for added control and better handling, and a comprehensive instrument cluster (featuring analog tachometer, LCD readout for speedometer, odometer, dual trip meter, reserve trip meter, and coolant temperature).
