2011 Yamaha FZ6R Specs, Engine Features, and Overview

The 2011 Yamaha FZ6R is powered by a 600 cc In-line 4-cylinder DOHC engine having a large 12.2 to 1 compression ratio, generating 44.1 ft.-lbs. or maximum torque at 8500 rpm. Transmission system uses a tri-axis stacked 6-speed design for great handling. Fuel consumption is rated at 43 mpg. This aggressive looking sport/street bike rolls on 17” tubeless radial tires with 5-spoke aluminum wheels. It has been tuned for ease of riding. The rider’s seat is low and adjustable – 30.9 in. high on the lowest position. The traditional 7/8” steel handelbar is also adjustable by 20mm. Other accessories include front dual hydraulic disc and rear single disc brakes that gives a progressive braking performance, five position adjustable front brake lever, a sleek full-fairing, halogen headlight, and passenger grab rail.
