The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder S is a midsize crossover SUV that accommodates up to seven passenger. Under the hood is a 266-horsepower 4.0-Liter 24-valve V6 coupled with a 5-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels (all model also have a choice of shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive). It’s big and burly, atop a sturdy truck chassis, having maximum towing capacity of a massive 6000 pounds. Over three rows of seating, the second and third are less roomy than one would prefer. It uses four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel anti lock vented disc brakes. The 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X 4X4 is an all wheel drive, off-road oriented SUV that accommodates five people in a an elevated ride position, built on a heavy duty truck frame. It’s got a tough body-on-frame construction, tall ground clearance and four-wheel drive system with multi-mode transfer case and low range gearing. Engine is a 4.0-Liter V6 that churns out 261 hp and 281 lb.ft. of peak torque. Fuel consumption is rated an EPA estimate of 17 mpg combined. The Nissan Xterra Pro-4X is generously equipped for adventures with driver-selectable locking rear differential, hill assist/descent control, roof-mounted off-road lights, skid plates, and upgraded off-road tires. In-cabin convenience features include leather wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, white-face gauges, unique cloth upholstery, fold-flat passenger seat, and premium nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio with 6 CD changer (with steering wheel audio controls, auxiliary audio jack, and satellite radio).
