The 2011 Chevrolet Impala LTZ is GM’s full-size 4-door sedan that has been around for a while. It uses a front wheel drive platform. This up-level LTZ model gets a larger 3.9L V6 OHV engine, that delivers 224 hp and 235 lb-ft. of torque. It’s mated to a Hydra-Matic 4T65 electronically controlled 4-speed automatic gearbox. The engine features Active Fuel Management that shuts down 3 cylinder at cruising speed and can be refueled with E85 besides regular unleaded gasoline. There’s room up for six people with an optional center front bench (40/20/40 setup), plus 18 cubic-feet of trunk space. Rear seatback can be fold-flat and has a large trunk pass-through to carry longer loads. This top-of-the-line Impala LTZ trim comes with luxury-tuned suspension, 18” alloy wheels, 8-way power driver seat, and the LT’s Luxury package content. A sunroof is optional. Safety system includes antilock brakes, traction control, stability control, front side and side curtain airbags, and OnStar telematics.
