The 2011 Ford Edge SE is a front wheel drive mid-size SUV that seats five. 6-speed automatic transmission is mated to a 6-cylinder V6 Ti-VCT engine, with output rated at 285 hp and 253 lb.ft torque. Power 4-wheel ABS system is complemented with AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™, that provides controlled driving in various road condition, by automatically adjust brake and engine torque when it detects wheelslip. Suspension employs independent front strut / rear multi-link, supported by isolated subframe, stabilizer bar, and hydraulic gas-pressurized twin-tube shock absorbers. The base SE model comes standard with single zone air conditioning, reclining front bucket seats, 60/40 reclining fold-flat rear seat with center fold-down armrest, 8 cup holders, tilt-telescopic steering wheel, six speaker CD player, front and rear carpeted floor, four 12V power points and 17” alloy wheels.
