2011 Yamaha Royal Star Venture S The 2011 Yamaha Royal Star Venture S is a classic open road luxury touring motorcycle designed with extra chrome accents.  It utilizes a powerful 1294cc liquid-cooled V-four DOHC engine that’s hooked to a five-speed wide ratio transmission with 5th gear overdrive.  Output is a claimed 98 hp and 89 ft.lb. @ 470 rpm, while fuel consumption is rated at 42 mpg.  The powerhouse is equipped with single-axis internal counterbalancer for reduced engine vibration, hydraulic clutch, low maintenance shaft drive, Air Induction System (AIS) that reduces  emission, and customizable 4-into-2 exhaust system.  Comfort is a priority, featuring  67.1 in. long wheelbase, ergonomically designed bucket-type seats with wraparound passenger backrest , and air adjustable suspension with adjustable fork/shock preload and rebound damping.  Yamaha Royal Star Venture S also comes packed with amenities including 1-in. large rubber mounted handlebars, wide fork-mounted fairing with wind deflectors and frame-mounted lower cowlings, cruise control, full-size floating floorboard, heel-to-toe shifter, remote adjustable headlight, vintage styled gauges, 57-liter large-volume trunk, 4-speaker audio with AM/FM stereo, aux jack, CB, and intercom.

2011 Triumph Sprint GT The 2011 Triumph Sprint GT is a unique and practical sport-touring motorcycle that puts emphasis on its long-trip touring capabilities.  Although it’s big size means a heavy 590 lbs. on-the-road weight, steering is light and handling is intuitive.  Power is generated by the legendary 1050cc liquid-cooled Triple engine that features multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and six-speed gearbox with chain rear wheel drive.  A more efficient stainless steel 3-into-1 exhaust system with updated electronics increases max power and torque, and results in a wider torque curve from 2500 rpm to max revs at 9500 rpm.  Output is a claimed 128 bhp max and 80 ft.-lbs. of torque.   Triumph Sprint GT tries to be both superior in performance and style.  The bike is packed with standard equipments including standard Anit-lock Brake System (ABS), redesigned fairing incorporating three light illumination setup, 31 liter panniers/ hard side bags, 12V power supply, “3-holer” gauge cluster with an analog speedo and one LCD display, and a 5.3 gallon fuel tank enough to cruise 200-miles.  A top box storage the size of two helmets is optional to be had.
